AARP is the nation's leading organization for people age 50
and older. It serves their needs and interests through education,
advocacy and community services which are provided by a network
of local chapters and experienced volunteers throughout the
country.
- Administration on Aging
AoA is the federal focal point and advocate agency for older
persons and their concerns. AoA works to heighten awareness
among other federal agencies, organizations, groups, and the
public about the valuable contributions that older Americans
make to the nation and alerts them to the needs of vulnerable
older people. Through information, referral and outreach efforts
at the community level, AoA seeks to education older people
and their caregivers about the benefits and services available
to them.

Long term Care Planning
Developed by the National Care Planning Council. This
free, noncommercial, online resource is the largest and most
comprehensive work on long term care planning ever
published. This public-service, online guide contains
over 670 printable pages including 96 charts and graphs.
It is written by eight experts and organized into 35
chapters.

on Disability
NCD's overall purpose is to promote policies, programs, practices,
and procedures that guarantee equal opportunity for all individuals
with disabilities, regardless of the nature or severity of
the disability; and to empower individuals with disabilities
to achieve self-sufficiency, independent living, and inclusion
and integration into all aspects of society.
